Blu

In 2011 Palumbo Shipyards Naples secures a contract for the construction of a high-tech work unit: Tug Recoil Globeco "Blu”. A steel unit of 38m, 10.6m beam and a GT of 464, with the precise mission to protect the marine environment in case of accidental pollution caused by oil and its derivatives.

This M/V Tug “Blu” represented a challenge for Palumbo both for reduced timing and for the overall complexity of the systems and their management.

Mega Express V

The 170m Ro-Ro pax, Corsica Ferries, "Mega Express V" was originally registered in Japan with no certification regarding the compliance with the international navigation rules. 
Palumbo designed, built and assembled approx 2,000 t of steel for the construction of 350 new passenger cabins and car decks. Works were carried out during 2007 and were completed in a record time of 9 months at Palumbo Shipyards Messina

Regal Star

The 160m Ro-Ro pax Tallink "Regal Star" was carried out by Palumbo Shipyards Naples between 1997 and 1999. 

336.000 working hours by less than two years. Regal Star obtained RINA classification for carrying passengers, carrying hazardous cargo, international navigation and ice class. 

All works were carried out in compliance with SOLAS.

Bella Desgagnes

Ro-Ro pax, Desgagnés Transport, "Bella Desganegnés" is a 97m LOA -  6588 GT passenger vessel completed in march 2013 by Palumbo Shipyards Naples.

The vessel was built by Palumbo in a record time, under the supervision of Lloyd Register and Transport Canada surveyors.

The vessel now represents a technical excellence as far as the international standards are concerned for passenger ships. Bella Desgagnés is an Ice and DP class vessel in compliance with Lloyd Classification standards and canadian flag.

Monte Stello

Partially sunk after a collision, Ro-Ro pax "Monte Stello" was salvaged and tugged to Palumbo Shipyards Naples in 1993. 
The repair intervention involved about 350.000 working hours, two years of activity and approximately 2.000 t of steel. Structural renewal of bottom and bow, complete overhauling of all damaged machinery in the engine room, renewal of the steering gear equipment, shaft lines, propellers and electrical installation were successfully carried out

Catamarans

New build construction of two full-aluminum catamarans took place between 2007-2009 at Palumbo Shipyards Naples.
A “record time” launch for the 52m catamarans commissioned by Rodriguez shipyards in Messina.  With a passenger capacity of 220 units and 22 crew member accommodation, the catamarans were equipped with elipad landing platform.

Columbus Prima

Columbus 54m, M/Y Prima was the first Yacht launched from Palumbo under Columbus Yachts brand.

A clear design concept based on a light, modern interior and massive volumes. Naval architecture signed by Sergio Cutolo and Tommaso Spadolini for her interior design. Prima is an excellent example of the pure, meticulous and refined design which Italians have become renowned for worldwide.
Prima, rewarded a RINA Green Star Plus Platinum and an ABS Classification, became more prestigious being awarded by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco in the presence of His Majesty the King of Spain. Columbus M/Y Prima turns out to be not only elegant but certified as environmentally friendly as well.

Columbus Eleonora III

M/Y Eleonora III is the first unit of the Sport Hybrid 40m awards winning series.

All-aluminum, semi-displacement unit powered with an advanced hybrid propulsion for a performance range between 3 and 20 knots.

Classified with the additional class notation “Hybrid Propulsion (Y)” and AUT CCS (Y), the naval architecture and exterior designer is signed by Hydrotec in partnership with Shipyards while interior design have been conceived by Hot Lab.

Columbus Taiba

Launched at Palumbo shipyard in Naples in 2015, the 57m superyacht Taiba was built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

The yacht is part of Columbus Yachts Classic Line, which was unveiled in 2011 with the launch of the 53.70m M/Y Prima.

Taiba, designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec, features an eclectic interior inspired by natural elements finished with a variety of woods mixed with mirror and marble surfaces from the hand of designer Francesca Cianficconi.

The Sport Hybrid -40m semi-displacement unit, powered with an advanced hybrid propulsion for a performance range between 3 and 20 knots has been

classified with the additional class notation “Hybrid Propulsion (Y)” and AUT CCS (Y).

Winner of the World Superyacht Awards 2016 – category Semi-Displacement & Three Deck Motor Yacht 30m - 40.9m, the Sport Hybrid model actually records five between ShowBoats Design and World Superyacht Awards.

The innovative M/Y Divine is the second unit of the Sport Hybrid-40m awards winning series. 

While naval architecture and exterior designer - in cooperation with the shipyard - is Hydrotec Srl, interior design have been conceived by Hot Lab.
