Swedish bearing manufacturer


Swedish bearing manufacturer, SKF, has signed an agreement with Palumbo Shipyards, a refit and repair site in the Mediterranean, to provide high tech services and related products.

The agreement covers activities such as mounting, chocking and on-site machining services, alignment services and vibration measurements as well as geometric and strain gauge alignment measurements.

“We are very pleased to start this collaboration with Palumbo Shipyards with the signing of this contract,” said Rania Patsiopoulous, SKF Hellas’s managing director.

“SKF recognizes the importance of being a partner to its customers within its territory. This agreement will also serve SKF’s commitment to ensure local presence in all territories where the SKF Group wants to be present with its products and services.”
